Millers is a benchmark apartment development that redefines inclusive urban living—designed to offer dignity, comfort, and independence in quality NDIS homes. Informed by in-depth collaboration with the client, residents, and support providers, the project offers one, two, and three-bedroom apartments in a living environment that is both functional and uplifting.
Our design process began with a gathering a deep understanding of lived experience, we considered— how people move through, interact with, and feel within their homes. Each space is shaped with intention, incorporating accessibility standards beyond compliance, while celebrating light, movement, and materiality. The result is architecture that supports connection, autonomy, and wellbeing.
Guided by our belief that Matter Matters, our review process weighs every line, curve, and texture, ensuring it contributes to a harmonious experience of independent living. Accessible design principles ensure these homes prioritise safety, comfort, and ease. Natural light flows throughout, enhancing a sense of spaciousness and creating moments of calm and clarity.
Open-plan layouts bring people together, seamlessly integrating kitchen, dining, and living zones to encourage everyday connection and ease. A palette of durable, low-impact materials brings both robustness and calm, while natural light and visual contrast increase comfort and safety.
Millers innovates with fresh standards for inclusive, sustainable living—demonstrating that good design can be both elegant and accessible. Here, design transcends the physical—becoming an enabler of connection, wellbeing, and belonging—setting a new benchmark for supported living environments.
